the things you do just end up hurting me

Girl: Why is it that you only do things that hurt me?
Boy: Why is it that you place all the blame on me?

An older sketch, sadly still just a tiny bit relevant to my life.

But truth is, when you've looked at your past relationships, at least for me, after time passes I can see that both sides did wrong. So yes, I have some blame in everything. It's never wise to see only what you want to, because sometimes you want to be the victim so you won't have to face your shortcomings.

Soon I'll buy a proper scanner here, get some sketches finished and colored so I can finally have another tag aside from 'sketches.'

they don't write books on how to be less awkward

In college Ja Ha once said to me, "T. you make things unnecessarily awkward." And to make matters worse, when I relayed this to my roommate, he concurred.

But it's true. You can't hide what's on the inside!

Unfortunately, moving overseas really exaggerates this characteristic in me. There have been plenty of moments where the air is just thick with an atmosphere where you really just want to squirm away from. This language barrier... Guh, let me tell you. I mean, really, when I tell you I don't speak any Korean, why do you go on for ten minutes in nothing but Korean???!?! AWKWARD.

i don't know what kind of person you are anymore

In the end she gets on that plane/train/bus but not before that final painful glance over her shoulder.

oh the pains of the human heart

In the throes of passion we rejoice for we are in love, yet somehow it is all forgot once the icy grip of betrayal threatens to shatter our frail hearts.

Hell hath...

sketch dump

Here are the only decent sketches from 2009. It's all about 2010, baby.

This is a sketch from Angkor Wat. I really didn't have enough time to sit and draw due to certain unavoidable factors. 1. I was traveling with my friend and 2. it was the peak of the hot season. And finding a solitary place just to sketch in that area is very near impossible between the beggars and tourists.

Here is a sketch of a girl in a story I'm trying to put together. She's based of this very pretty girl I saw eating by herself while I was in Pattaya, Thailand.

I really want her nautilus shell necklace.
